Raviset(R)

Foraviset is a women’s-health therapeutics company developing Raviset®, a first-in-class, non-hormonal and non-steroidal investigational therapy for endometriosis. Raviset is designed to modulate the inducible nitric oxide synthase/nitric oxide (iNOS/NO) pathway—an upstream inflammatory pathway implicated in pain, oxidative stress and other biological processes relevant to endometriosis.
Endometriosis affects approximately one in ten women of reproductive age and can cause severe menstrual and pelvic pain, impaired daily functioning and fertility-related complications. Existing medical treatment remains dominated by hormonal suppression and symptomatic pain management, leaving a substantial need for effective non-hormonal alternatives.
Raviset is supported by an established scientific, non-clinical and human-exposure foundation. The active ingredient has previously undergone Phase I evaluation and additional clinical use, while an exploratory study in women with dysmenorrhea and abnormal uterine bleeding produced encouraging signals in pain and bleeding outcomes. These historical findings are supportive but are not a substitute for controlled clinical evidence in endometriosis.
Foraviset is now preparing an oral, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled Phase IIa study designed to evaluate Raviset’s efficacy and tolerability in women with endometriosis-associated pain. Endometriosis is the company’s lead indication and the principal clinical proof point for a potential broader expansion into adjacent uterine-related disorders.
The company is advancing its clinical, regulatory, manufacturing and non-clinical programs in preparation for this next development stage and is pursuing a Series A financing round to support execution of the Phase IIa program.
Foraviset’s objective is to introduce a differentiated therapeutic option for women who need effective symptom control without relying on hormonal suppression or repeated invasive intervention.
